Since 1979, 4MBS Classic FM broadcast fine classical music, from a Beethoven symphony, to Schubert’s art songs, to Chopin piano concertos and more! We also feature fascinating interviews with musicians and other prominent arts individuals, plus just enough news and weather to keep you updated! We’re all about the music though, so ads are kept to a minimum.
Tune your radio to 103.7 FM to hear us in Brisbane, South-East Queensland, and the luckier parts of northern New South Wales. You can also listen live online from anywhere in the world that has an internet connection! We’ve received lovely letters from listeners as far away as the United States and Israel!

As a community radio station, we can only keep our three, unique radio services on the air with your support. Our affordable annual subscriptions offer a range of benefits, in addition to providing you with three radio services, airing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
OUR ANNOUNCERS
Around 55 announcers do the mighty job of pronouncing tricky composers’ surnames and expertly queuing up music to play on air without awkward silent gaps! They come from all different backgrounds, but what they have in common is a love of fine music. Ranging from professional musicians, to teachers, to barristers – our announcers come from all walks of life!
