The Queensland Philanthropic Orchestra is a unique, exciting and positive philanthropic initiative which, in the last three years has raised over $30,000 for Queensland charities.

The orchestra brings together musicians from all spectrums of life, many of whom manage full time, professional careers.  Under the leadership of a world class conductor, these high-calibre performances symbolise the spirit of philanthropy - working together, united by the desire to give to the community in which these people live for the benefit of others.

The selected charity for 2010 is MS Queensland, an organisation which provides information about multiple sclerosis and helps raise funds for research. It also provides professional healthcare services to reduce the impact of the disease on those diagnosed, their families and their carers.
